Seed/Plant info: The Tangerine Tiger pepper is an accidental cross between an Aji Tangerine and Sugar Rush Stripey pepper. This variety is known for its beautiful, striped pods that are predominantly orange but can also have yellow, red, or even variegated colors. The shapes can also vary, from round to long and slender. It has a mild-to-moderate heat level (around 5,000–10,000 SHU), a sweet tropical flavor, and thick crunchy walls. Due to its instability, variations in pod shape and color are very common, with some peppers having no stripes at all. Expect a very slow ripening process. 90+ days to harvest. Capsicum baccatum.
