Seed/Plant info: Standing out as one of the most scorching varieties ever cultivated, the Primotalii is the result of a unique crossbreeding experiment carried out by Chris Saunders in 2012, combining the fiery 7 Pot Primo and the potent Fatalii pepper. A true contender as one of the world’s hottest peppers. In terms of face melting heat, the SHU rating remains somewhat uncertain but the Primotalii is likely above 2,200,000. This pepper is undeniably nuclear, delivering heat levels that rival any Reaper. Johnny Scoville, who is known for eating the hottest peppers on Earth without batting an eye (follow Chase the Heat on YouTube!) stated on a recent episode that the Primotalii is the hottest pepper he has EVER eaten! Beyond the intense heat, they boast flavors that are fruity, citrusy, and sweet with floral undertones. The most impressive feature of this variety is the elongated stinger, often measuring over 1″ (much longer than Carolina Reapers). These also tend to curl at the end, creating a unique and intimidating appearance. Growing on plants that are ~3 feet tall, pods ripen from green to fiery bright red. 100+ days to harvest.
