Seed/Plant info: These heirloom seeds produce big and juicy banana-shaped waxy peppers growing 5” long on 3’ tall plants. Ripens from pale yellow to red. VERY productive, even in cooler weather. This pepper originated from Hungary and is also known as "Hot Banana Wax". Harvest early when pale green-yellow for milder heat. As the pepper matures to red it gets hotter! These look like sweet Hungarian peppers and the only way to tell them apart is the heat! Scoville rating ranges from 5,000-15,000. 80+ days to harvest. Capsicum annuum.
