Seed/Plant info: The only fried chicken you can grow in a garden! Don’t let the name fool you—there’s not a drumstick in sight. The Fried Chicken pepper is one of the strangest and most entertaining peppers you’ll ever grow. Its thick, heavily wrinkled, deeply folded pods develop a bizarre appearance that looks remarkably like a piece of crispy fried chicken. The pods ripen to a bright golden-orange, with a heavily textured, bumpy surface and wildly irregular folds and lobes. Some fruits develop elongated, almost wing-like shapes, while others look like miniature pieces of battered chicken. Whether you're growing unusual varieties, collecting rare-looking peppers, or simply want something that makes visitors do a double take, this one delivers. Fried Chicken peppers are a cross between Jay's Peach Ghost Scorpion and Orange BBG (7 Pot Bubblegum Orange). SHU ~850k. 90+ days to harvest. Capsicum chinense.
Looks crispy. Grows fiery. Comes with absolutely no chicken.
