Size (when shipped): 8-12 inches, rooted cutting, leafing out (April-October), possible fruit formation. The seedling pictured is for reference only, your plants may be slightly shorter, larger, or fuller when received but still within this range.

Description: Often called "Sugar figs", Celeste are highly prized, small-to-medium, purple-brown, or violet-skinned fruits with rich, sweet, honey-flavored flesh. Known for being exceptionally resilient, productive, and resistant to splitting in humid climates, this self-fertile, early-ripening, cold-hardy (Zones 6–10) variety thrives in the Southeastern US.
Of note, if ordering this item from November-March, this item will be shipped with no leaves on the plant as these fall off seasonally due to cold temperatures. This is normal! The root structures are very healthy and the plants are ready to be potted up. Leaves will begin to emerge again from the nodes in the spring.
