This pepper is a cross between the Red Carolina Reaper and the Chocolate Trinidad Moruga Scorpion with heat levels ranging from 1.5-2.2 million Scoville Heat Units. With a very strong floral aroma, the fruity flavor is similar to the red variety but stands out with a unique hint of a smoky flavor upfront. Chocolate Carolina Reapers will start off green and ripen to brown, reaching ~ 1.5 to 2 inches in total length. 90+ days from seed to harvest. Capsicum chinense.
