Seed/Plant info: This is the coolest sweet pepper we've ever grown! Even the variegated foliage of the Candy Cane Chocolate Cherry is attractive, but the peppers will continue to wow you as they ripen from green and white stripes to the chocolate red and cream stripes in their name, giving a candy cane-like appearance! As with other sweet pepper varieties, the longer you leave them on the plant, the sweeter the pods will become. They ultimately ripen to a red/brown color. The leaves are variegated, so don’t be surprised when you see splotches and stripes of ivory, bright white and green! Candy Cane peppers are great for container gardening or pots as they only grow to be about 2’ tall. Pods are up to 4” long and 1.5” wide. Great for stuffing! 70+ days to harvest. Capsicum Annuum.
