Seed/Plant info: One of the most versatile peppers around! Low in heat (similar to a poblano) and ideal for roasting, grilling, and stuffing. ESPECIALLY stuffing (chili rellenos, anyone?). Originating in New Mexico, the Anaheim pepper found fame in California which explains why they’re commonly referred to as “New Mexico Chilies” or “Hatch Chilies”. The fruits grow 6-10” in length on productive 30” plants ripening from green to red. Scoville heat units range from 500-1000.
