Aji Amarillo Peruvian Pepper Seeds

Seed/Plant info: Did you know that McCormick, the top-selling maker of seasonings and spices, has named Ají Amarillo as its 2025 “Flavor of the Year.”?! This is one among many reasons to grow this Peruvian variety! Native to the Andes (Bolivia or Peru), it's been called "the most important ingredient in Peruvian cuisine as it is the cornerstone to many essential traditional dishes". When dried, it is called Ají Mirasol or Cusqueno. Aji Amarillo has beautiful fruits that have a wonderful, fruity flavor along with moderate heat similar to other aji-types. Pods grow to be 3-4" long (the largest of all Aji varieties!) and ripen from green to a fiery orange. Plants grow to be 3-4 feet tall and are prolific. SHU 30,000-50,000. Capsicum baccatum.
